Tools

Within the framework of the econValue project, the database provides a repository of information on tools and models that can be used to help countries evaluate the economic impact of deploying renewable energy. The database aims to assist decision makers in finding the most adequate tool in terms of scope, budget and practical requirements. It presents a review of the types of models available, the capabilities of these models and most essentially the logistical steps required to employ each model.

The repository guides users in the identification of potentially suitable tool by providing information on the expected costs, time scales, mode of access and final outputs of each model.

The database of tools is under development.
